Santinezia serratotibialis occurs in Trinidad, Tobago, and Peninsula de Paria (Venezuela). It inhabits wet tropical forests with abundant debris of rotting logs or palm frond sheaths; at least to 300 m asl. The body size is 10-12 mm (males). This is a nocturnal species which breeds during the rainy season. The females are presumed to guard the eggs, larvae and nymphs.
